The combined service of "Universal Africa Lines" and "BOCS - Bremen Overseas Chartering and Shipping" utilizes a fleet of 21 modern geared multi-purpose vessels, ranging from 4,354 DWT to 33,000 DWT, with lifting capacities of up to 360 MT.

WHEN TWO BECOME ONE

In 2024 BOCS and UAL have decided to join forces and started a Joint Venture for the Caribbean and the East Coast of South America.

UAL B.V. is a breakbulk MPP shipping line dedicated to the Oil and Gas market and operates geared MPP vessels ranging from 4.500 DWT to 12.800 DWT, with lifting capacities

up to 360 MT.

BOCS operates a monthly geared MPP liner-service employing a modern fleet of geared vessels ranging from 7.700 DWT to 34.000 DWT, with lifting capacities up to 160 MT.

Universal Africa Lines has been running a liner service from the USA to the Caribs and South America already, and has seen a growing demand from its clients for a similar service originating in NW Europe. So it was only logical after our joint venture in the Mediterranean that we would start this new adventure together with our good partner BOCS. We will continue to build on our success.
